Microsoft is boosting its Xbox Game Pass subscription by adding in EA Play games. It plans to unveil that titles on the day of its console launch.
Xbox Game Pass is getting all the furnishing it needs to stand out from the constant developing and innovating gaming industry. Microsoft most definitely has big plans laid out for its subscription-based service.
One of the highly noted downside for Google Stadia is its limited game library. With Xbox Game Pass now having the xCloud service, Microsoft will assure it won’t have the same issue.

Xbox Game Pass and EA Play announcement
Xbox announces that starting November 10, on the day of Series X/S launch, EA Play will be made available.
EA Play will be accessible by all of the Xbox consoles. This means new Series X or S owners will also have this feature on the day of the launch.
The availability of EA Play will be part of the Microsoft gaming arm’s Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Also, according to the announcement:
“[B]beginning in December, members with an Ultimate or PC subscription will be able to download and play games from the EA Play library on Windows 10 PCs. That means we will have a whole new collection of games coming your way on console and PC, and that some of the best EA Play games will also be available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play on Android devices via the cloud.”
Of course, readers should note that the availability of EA Play Library on Windows 10 PCs might be subject to the conditions of the EA’s policies.

More Bethesda games coming as well
Microsoft is definitely tapping a lot of developers to assure the diversity of its game library. Recently, the online community was struck by the news of the ZeniMax buyout.
ZeniMax is the parent company of Bethesda, who is known for its games such as The Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises. Microsoft plans to add classic franchises from the developers that gamers have come to love.
The company confirms one title today, which is Doom Eternal. The game will be making its red carpet on Xbox Game Pass on October 1. It will later be made available on PC on a later date, still slated for this year.
Aside from Doom Eternal, Inverse lists down the other title coming to Game Pass this month, which are:
- Drake Hollow — October 1 for Game Pass for PC
- Brutal Legend — October 8 for console
- Forza Motorsport 7 — October 8 for all Xbox Game Pass platforms
- Ikenfell — October 8 for console and PC
