Luminosity Gaming has signed former Overwatch player and star streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel to its creators roster. The streamer will be joining the panel of judges for the second edition of esports reality show Rising Stars.
xQc has assembled a massive following on Twitch through his streams featuring Overwatch, Valorant, Among Us, and many other games. The streamer will likely be the biggest and most valuable addition to Luminosity’s roster yet, as his Among Us streams have helped him become the second-most-watched streamer on Twitch. To top that off, xQc managed to peak at over 60,000 cocnurrent viewers in the last month, according to twitchtracker.
The French-Canadian streamer started his gaming career as a professional Overwatch player. Multiple controversies later, xQc switched lanes and moved to Twitch as a full-time streamer. Despite a triumphant time in the Overwatch professional scene , it is his streaming career that people best know him for. xQc’s clean gameplay coupled with his outgoing personality helped his career skyrocket, garnering him a following of 3.5 million on Twitch.
His great success in streaming makes him a valuable asset for Luminosity that already has top streamers including the likes of Ludvig “Anomaly” Lagerstedt and LosPollos in its creators roster.
xQc has recently parted ways with Sentinels after spending one and a half years in the organization as a content creator.

Luminosity Gaming is bringing Rising Stars back
With xQc’s addition to its creators lineup, Luminosity has also announced the second edition of their renowned talent show Rising Stars. The show’s pilot was aired in 2019 with an aim to discover and nurture new talent in gaming.
“It’s only natural for us to look within these communities for the next rising star, which is comparable to popular shows, “American Idol” or “The Voice,” but for gaming… Rising Stars is something that is not only wanted and craved, but that it is also inspirational and aspirational to those watching and competing,” CEO of Enthusiast Gaming, Adrian Montgomery said.
Rising Stars quickly amassed a large audience as it featured a star-studded panel of judges who brought together participants based on their gaming and streaming skills. The organization has previously discovered numerous streamers by providing them with a platform where they can showcase their talent. Participants compete in Rising Stars for a potential partnership with Luminosity that comes with a $100,000 sponsorship.
xQc’s addition to Luminosity will help the organization in their search for the next Twitch star.
“I make it my mission to find the next gaming star,” xQc said. “If you have what it takes and you think you could win it all, there’s a sponsorship offered on the table.”
xQc will be joining Elliot ‘Muselk’ Watkins, Harley “Fresh” Campbell, Rocky “RockyNoHands” Stoutenburgh, and Anomaly in the Luminosity Gaming creators lineup.
